Regional Recycling Depot (Essex)

Depot Policies: Prior to your visit get to know Depot policies and procedures (e.g. double-axle trailer fees, children and pet rules, load tarping, etc.).

The Regional Recycling Depot:

  • Does not accept garbage direct from residents or small companies (unless an account is approved- link to business acct page).
  • Only accepts recyclable materials from both residents and businesses as outlined by the EWSWA program.

The Regional Recycling Depot is a great place to drop off many different types of materials. While many recyclable materials are free to drop off, there is a fee for the drop off of some materials and double-axle trailers will be charged as well. Most of the materials dropped off at EWSWA Depots are recycled and yard waste is composted into Garden Gold Compost!
