Non-Eligible Sources (NES) Recycling Program
There are those organizations who have registered for new NES Recycling Program and those organizations who have not (and may not qualify). Please refer to the section below that best describes your organization or not-for-profit.
Registered Non-Eligible Sources (NES)
Businesses or not-for-profit who received collection services from the EWSWA prior to August 28, 2024, and have registered with the EWSWA, have been notified by email that they have been approved for curbside collection services under the new NES Recycling Program. This new NES Recycling Program was created by the EWSWA, to cover a legislative gap in service as a result of O.Reg. 391/21 coming into effect on August 28, 2024 in Essex-Windsor.
Through email, Registered NES Recycling Program Businesses / Not-For-Profits were provided information that the City of Windsor would provide recycling collection services as well as their unique:
- New Route
- New Collection Calendar
Registered NES (business/not-for-profits) please be sure to check your email daily as this is the only way that program changes (e.g., collection delays, schedule changes) will be communicated. If you have any questions on this program please email ask@ewswa.org
Non-Registered NES
The NES registration is now closed.
If you need to discuss your recycling program, please email the EWSWA at ask@ewswa.org for further consultation.
